Dr. Michael Young

Dr. Young is a caring dentist near New Haven who decided to enter the profession because of his desire to help others. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, he attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he earned his degree in 1994.

Since finishing dental school, he has completed the Kois Center for Advanced Dental Learning continuum. He has also participated in a mini-residency for dental implants from Nobel Biocare. His learning hasn’t stopped there, though. He has completed multiple courses focusing on oral surgery and bone grafts, and he is intrigued by 3D dentistry, earning a certification in the use of an InstaRisa 3D facial scanner, which can be used for dental implant placement.

In addition to his role as a dentist, he is also the founder and president of Digital Dentistry Solutions and serves on the Board of Education for Planmeca.

When he isn’t transforming smiles, you’ll likely find him playing various instruments, spending time with his family and dogs, running triathlons and marathons for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.

Dr. Joseph Samona

As an associate dentist near New Haven, Dr. Samona cares about educating his patients on the importance of maintaining good oral health and longer-lasting smiles. His love for people and a desire to help improve their self-esteem led him into the field of dentistry. Also, he appreciates how it combines art, science, engineering, and hands-on activity.

While attending the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, he earned an award for implant dentistry and one for research focused on oral health education for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. After graduating at the top of his class, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at UT Health San Antonio.

His advanced training includes Invisalign, gum surgery, cosmetic dentistry, full mouth reconstruction, and dental implant placement and restoration. Dr. Samona believes in the benefits of continuing education, which is why he regularly attends various courses focused on general dentistry, implant dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry.

Outside of the office, you’ll find him staying active by going on hikes, playing golf, and playing sports. He also enjoys doing CrossFit and watching his favorite sports teams. You’ll also find him volunteering his time to help those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Dr. Dominika Jarosz

Dr. Jarosz aims to make a long-term impact on her patients’ lives, and as an associate dentist near New Haven, she is pleased to be a part of the Forever Young Dentistry team.

Her decision to pursue dentistry stemmed from a bad experience she had as a child. Instead of allowing fear to fuel her, she decided to change the way others see the dental field. This gave her the desire to help others overcome their fears, so she completed her undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Detroit Mercy.

Since then, she has pursued continuing education to hone, expand, and refine her skills. She also maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

A native of Poland, Dr. Jarosz is pleased to be living in the great state of Michigan alongside her husband, Tim, and their two young boys. They also have a cat and a dog. You’ll likely find her reading, gardening, and kayaking.
